Saw the gen a few months back but only in the Black and Blue, this Whit one look nice and I particularly like the Blue Calibre 5

also like the left hand side date

So whats the verdict?

There's me liking the blue and it aint even on the gen.

Bezel grooves look ok, still it makes a change from all those chronos

The "500 m" on dial have close kernel space between letters

Screws on the gen bezel are white; rep are black (but maybe even the gen can have this combination)

tag heuer logo inverted black/white scheme;

calibre 5 on dial have thinner font; rep is more bold

aquaracer lettering on dial have a different font also (these rep designer don

Bezel is a dead give away.

Gen has metal screws that actually hold the bezel. Rep has no screws... only bezel marks.

Hmm... is the white dial version a complete fantasy model? Looks like the gen (in the reference photo) has silver dial.

Yes I was just thinking that too By-tor. Il have to have a trip to my local AD to check this one out me thinks. I quite like this model, but if they are willing to do non-chrono watches along this line, why on Earth don't they get the new IWC Aquatimers out!?!? The rep game has always baffled me

The "calibre 5" wording on the dial is indeed Blue on the Genuine.. Have a look at the latest Tag Catalog and genuine watches display in local authorised dealer..

All the publishing materials earlier on and the pics on the net.. are not inline with the actual genuines being produced and sold. This is now a common stunt with genuine watch makers... Other egs.. IWC (Cousteau, Latest Aquatimer) and Hublot (Ice Bang).
