Anyone familiar with this model?

Also, are we thinking the Black Hornback is crap?

I don't understand why they cant get that right. They fixed it on the Safari and Rose old.

This is the first AP that has really spoken to me. Really, I was inthe AD and the watch said "Hiya Hambone, what's shakin dude?" Might have to get one. The 48mm is a clincher.

On the gen the hands and numerals have that black lume,on the rep must be like the safari with no lume.

this watch will be my first AP.

The only thing I'm worried is about the movement; is it a reliable movement? is it worth to spend $500? if I service the watch (The Zigmeister's service) will the watch be fine?

I have 3 AP sec @ 12 (first one I got was over a year back when this was launched). I would say the movement is first rate...no problems.....pretty sturdy.

If you get a watchsmith in The Zigmeister's class or others to give a run over it should be find for a long time..

On this model my opinion is the sub dial rings are wrong in some way, to big maybe? to pronounce?

Yes, i even think that Zigmeister commented on this one once, that once being serviced (the seconds @ 12) that then everything is fine and that the overall construction of the modification is quite good.
