hooky Posted December 18, 2009 Report Share Posted December 18, 2009 I always believed that the most problems with exploding were the 1950 44mm models, like the 253 and the 212. I had at least 5-7 exploded crystals with pam253 for myself and other people. terrible terrible... Only when they produce the 'old' sapphire crystals again, I will buy one of these. Once I had a fully The Zigmeisterfied 253 (relume, movement serviced, cg modd, Jakub AR), but I refuse to invest in these tricky watches now. If they are not seated properly in the bezel, the likelihood of the crystal exploding is high as the crystal is generally not as well made as the gen versions.
