gplracer
I am ordering some tools because I have none. I have a case opener on the way. I would like to get a movement holder. Some of the movement holders are really cheap. Does it matter? What would be a good one that is not much money? Thanks!!!
freddy333
Anything from Bergeon should be fine (ofrei, julesborel, cousinsuk, etc). I would steer clear of the cheap off-branded tools.
alligoat
I see no need to spend a lot of money on one. Also, I'm very happy w/ my economy tool kit that I bought 3-4 years ago: http://cgi.ebay.com/WATCH-TOOL-KIT-LARGE-WITH-CARRYING-CASE_W0QQitemZ290383313246QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item439c31b95e You can shop around and find it for less- I've seen them for $50. Also, I bought a nice set of screwdrivers from Offshore recently- $15 incl shipping to USA. Good quality blades. Then you can add specialty tools as you need them. dluddy
Check with WatchBitz (Offshore) right here on RWG. He has very good offerings on tools. http://www.rwgforum.com/topic/108011-quality-tool-kit/
rolexmaniac88
i'm not going to create a new topic for that but does anyone know what tool to use to take out a bracelet from a 16610 (without lugholes). I have a cheap sub that i'd like to put on a nato and i might do the same thing with the WM9 V3 i'm going to order soon. Is this tool the one (the first one bergeon 3153) or one of the followings: http://www.cousinsuk.com/catalog/6/1107/1305.aspx ?
gplracer
That is a real simple tool. It is basically a flat screwdriver with a notch in the middle. Harbor Freight has them for almost nothing. You could make one or just use a screw driver as well.
offshore
These are also available at www.watchbitz.com.au. along with many other quality and specialist tools. Offshore
