Forever, I have wanted an omega seamaster or planet ocean in the 007 styling but just can't spend the money on the real deal right now.. till then, I would like a replica to hold me over. Can anyone suggest a good replica similar to that released for quantum of solace (or otherwise). Last time I looked (year or so ago) there were not any good replicas..

AFAIK, Daniel Craig wore the black bezel with white numbers model 45mm PO in Casino Royale and I was told he wore the 42.5mm version of the same watch in Quantum of Solace. I'm not sure why that would be though. I figure if the 45mm fits your wrist, that is the one you will probably buy. I got the 42.5mm because I measured my wrist and figured the 45mm would be too large. I could be wrong though who knows. I haven't put on a 45mm PO before.

Oh this might be helpful. Says he did have the 42mm in the second movie. http://www.shadeone.com/watches/

The UPO (ultimate planet ocean) is a replica of the 45.5mm omega planet ocean. They are available in blk/wht, blk/orange and pumpkin color schemes.

The UPO case is capable of accepting all visible genuine parts, so in essence, you can make this watch as close to "perfect" as you can afford. Just buy genuine dial, hands, crown, crystal, and bracelet and you have a lovely Planet Ocean which is hardly discernible from the genuine.

I have never seen the dimple dial PO 007 but the Seamaster 007 in black dial you picture is readily available.

Narikaa sells a 42mm and a 45mm planet ocean in all 3 color schemes. They are not super replicas and can not accept genuine parts but they are considered on of the finest values in the replica world at about 110usd for the very good quality they bring to the table. Whenever he receives a shipment, they sell out very quickly.

Personally, I own 1 Narikaa 42mm and 1 UPO 45mm

One of the "Chinese New Year Surprises" was the announcement of a 1:1 42mm Planet Ocean replica, along the same quality of the 45mm UPO. It will accept genuine parts, as the UPO 45mm does. Keep your eyes open for new developments, if the 45mm is too big for you.

Anywhere I can get a good replica of this watch:

or this one...

I like those Bond Omegas as well and I wonder if what you want is one of these two, the upper 45 mm or the lower 41mm?

Or as you say in your first post a Bond styled Omega like this one from 2002

post-20849-126840161562_thumb.jpg

This is my personal favorite, it is blue and you can find a replica at Watcheden for USD 108 incl freight.

It has the 007 logo above 6 on the dial and 007 is textured as a pattern in the dial as well.

007 Omega 2002 40 yrs

Otherwise, you have perhaps seen this copy of the Planet Ocean 45 you were looking for USD 298 + freight

007 Quantum of Solace Planet Ocean 45mm

I do not know how much you are prepared to pay and how good the copy has to be. The last from Andrew seems to be very good,

and the first I guess would be acceptable for me and something I would wear. However here on the forum the standard is very different from member to member.

And I think I am much less orientated to the 1:1 copies than some people are here, but I have not collected for a very long time B)

This one looks pretty darn sexy: http://www.trustywatchguy.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35_114&products_id=3951

But, isn't the quantum of solace planet ocean supposed to have a black face not a blue one?

If you are referring to the link, yes I think it should be black and it certainly seems to be black.

I think all Planet Oceans should be black, I do not know about any that is not black.

If you are referring to any other watch, please explain.

Maybe my color blindness is getting the best of me but, the watch in that link appears to have a dark blue face?

I agree with ianagarrison - I think it is the AR that gives the blue tinge, also the text says it is

"DIAL COLOR: Black Dial with White Numerals"

Also agree with you - it looks pretty darn sexy :thumbsupsmileyanim:

I havent seen many with the "dimpled dial" and this has double AR.

If you want to use it a lot I would go with this one, if you just want to use it occasionally it is one at

watcheden for USD 128 freight incl with single AR. (as Andrew's also you have to add freight appr USD 40)

PO Quantum Solace 21j single AR

If you buy any of them be sure to post pictures her ;)

So what is the concensus on the best rep of this watch

And the dial doesn't have those dimples on it... :(

See link and pic of rep a few posts up. That's the only version of the "quantum of solace" with dimples I've seen. Although there are some obvious incorrect markings.
