Ronin Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 Not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but I have noticed this for the last few weeks. The forum seems to grind to a halt around Midnight GMT time daily. (The rest of the internet is fine, so it is not my connection). T, are you running some sort of cron job, back-up, or other background process at this time? Just curious since 12:00 GMT is semi-prime time across much of North America. Thanks! Keep up the great job,
redwatch Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 Seeing the same thing here. At first I thought something was up with my connection. I am running 3 different connections, using Firefox for PC, Firefox & Safari for mac. All three had the same slow response. Been seeing this a lot lately around this time
Corgi Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 At the time of writing this post, RWG is being slow for me. Even more so than usual (it takes a lot of processing power to load dozens of animated .gifs of semi-naked women juggling their breasts). On another note, I still want back to the old layout. That's right, I went there.
KB Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 The boss is getting things ready for updates so I imagine he would be doing a bit of tinkering downstairs. Remember too that he is on European time. Ken
ubiquitous Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 Noticing the same slow down, as well. Usually a refresh or two helps move things along (F5 is earning it's keep)...
redwatch Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 Does RWG have an F5 load balancer? That would explain why it is usually so rock solid! EDIT: Of course, as soon as I tried to post this, my browser crashed. Definitely some weird behavior lately
