cougaree Posted May 29, 2010 Report Posted May 29, 2010 If you search for "Breitling Dail" you will find some really cheap ones! The word dial has to be spelled wrong to see all the deals. Just FYI (BTW, I'm not the seller).
cougaree Posted May 29, 2010 Author Report Posted May 29, 2010 I think it's gen. Not so sure. Anybody?
HauteHippie Posted May 29, 2010 Report Posted May 29, 2010 Just beware of seller "diamondcastle". This seller is known to ship scratched/dinged dials and is using stock photos. So the dial you receive won't be the dial pictured.

cougaree Posted May 29, 2010 Author Report Posted May 29, 2010 I bought two BCE dials from diamondcastle, they are perfect. However, I did specifically ask the seller to pick out the perfect one for me though.
HauteHippie Posted May 29, 2010 Report Posted May 29, 2010 It's quite possible that diamondcastle has cleaned up their act, but there is no doubt that they were once sending out less than perfect dials and being unreasonable about accepting returns.
OSRep Posted May 29, 2010 Report Posted May 29, 2010 If you search for "Breitling Dail" I only get 3 dials as a result
subbiesrock Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 What about reconditioning gen dials that have very light scratches? Does anyone know of the possibilities there?
Blobzor Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 i got mine from diamondcastle and it was perfect too, and to get a gen sa dial (ok arabic not battons) for 65$ was a bliss.
BNWMan Posted June 5, 2010 Report Posted June 5, 2010 Wait a minute - when I look up seller "diamondcastle" on the Bay, I find he hasn't sold anything since 2006... do we have the right ID?
cougaree Posted June 5, 2010 Author Report Posted June 5, 2010 The correct ebay id is "thediamondcastle"
BNWMan Posted June 5, 2010 Report Posted June 5, 2010 Interesting that there's an outfit in Germany selling 'Ling dials on the bay. Surprised they don't get a visit from Interpol. So does anyone ever find gen SOH dials out there someplace?

I doubt there's nothing illegal in that. I've heard that these are replacement dials. Some weird people just want to ruin their fine watches with pimp-like diamond dials. SA is the extreme flashy bling Breit so I guess the diamonds go along with it (kinda).
krpster Posted June 6, 2010 Report Posted June 6, 2010 So does anyone ever find gen SOH dials out there someplace? Never seen one...if I had it would be in my SOH now
cougaree Posted June 6, 2010 Author Report Posted June 6, 2010 The SOH v2 dial looks to me very decent. I dont' know think I would put a gen dial on mine.

I thought Breitling went out of there way to see that there is no grey market for there parts. In any case, it looks like those guys are selling mostly "New Old Stock" items, maybe someone that went out of business?
