PAMman Posted May 30, 2010 Report Posted May 30, 2010 Hi, I am really stuck on completing my franken Skyland and just need a Breitling style datewheel to fit on the ETA 7750. I am looking for one of the correct pattern datewheels as fitted to the reps. Can anyone help? I will even buy a complete cheap watch as a donor - non-runner or whatever. PM please.
szvwj Posted May 30, 2010 Report Posted May 30, 2010 I'm working on having some printed right now. They've been at the printer for the past 2 weeks, so I hope to have them back soon. I'll add you to the list if you'd like (I'm only having a few made).
yodap Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 I'm also interested! Can't wait to see the results! Greetz.
cougaree Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 I sourced two genuine DW, but they had slightly lighter font color (dark gray). Does anyone know which Breitling model they are from? Thanks!
Collin24 Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 Silly question here: does the datewheel from the A7750 fit the ETA7750?
14060 or 16610? Posted June 1, 2010 Report Posted June 1, 2010 Silly question here: does the datewheel from the A7750 fit the ETA7750? Yes absolutely it fits. I sourced two genuine DW, but they had slightly lighter font color (dark gray). Does anyone know which Breitling model they are from? Thanks! Possibly Crosswind.
nospamno Posted March 9, 2011 Report Posted March 9, 2011 I'm working on having some printed right now. They've been at the printer for the past 2 weeks, so I hope to have them back soon. I'll add you to the list if you'd like (I'm only having a few made). I have a BCE v2 (I think) with an A7750 datewheel. Would the date overlay you are getting work for the BCE? If so I would really appreciate getting one as well. Please let me know if that is a possibility. Thanks

cougaree Posted March 9, 2011 Report Posted March 9, 2011 It would be great if Navitimer doesn't have sunken dw.
andreww Posted March 10, 2011 Report Posted March 10, 2011 It would be great if Navitimer doesn't have sunken dw. Of course it would, but sunken datewheel or not, it would be nice to at least have the proper fon facing the proper direction.
cougaree Posted March 10, 2011 Report Posted March 10, 2011 Agree . I hope to see the new Navitimer rep with a7753 movement soon...
ATEspo Posted March 21, 2011 Report Posted March 21, 2011 Any chance these would fit a Seawolf? I am in need of a good datewheel for my stainless Seawolf
chronoluvvv Posted March 21, 2011 Report Posted March 21, 2011 wouldn't an ETA DW work on the Seawolf ?
szvwj Posted March 21, 2011 Report Posted March 21, 2011 If you have the ability to do this, why don't you consider doing a tricompax Navitimer datewheel? It's an expensive and labor intensive process to make datewheels. When I finished my BCE datewheels, many of the people who had expressed interest, suddenly vanished (lesson: take the money up front). I certainly have the ability to make Navitimer datewheels, but I honestly just don't have the time or money for such a project (and I don't want to spend a bunch of time and money just to be sitting on a stack of datewheels...again). If I can do it, anyone can. It just takes money and a lot of persistence.
