Hublot experts, please have a look

hello guys, today i recieved pictures from the watch i purchased, its a all black V1

but the strange thing on the watch is that the movement is better then the pics from the first watch i recieved pictures from my dealer it had some screw issues so the watch gets changed from the factory...

here is the movement from the watch i will recieve now, notice the H engraving and the correct bearing.. is this for sure a highbeat V1 movement?? the only thing i noticed is that the H on the bridge is at the wrong position...but ok

is this a good movement ?

1) The H seems stamped not engraved

2) The rotor on the "original" watch had a blue screw and that was strange.

It seems the 28K model (missing the micro regulator) with a stamped bridge and a different rotor

I like it although the H seems crooked.

yes the blue screw was the reason for the change

thank you tx, yes i like it also because the bearing looks better and more like gen, it also has a H on the bridge, ok it might be stamped, but most of the v1 dont have it, so its better then none i guess

and with a crystal from you it will be perfect i bet

ricardo why do you think the second one looks more like then gen? i thought the movement on the first picture was better

oh and do you guys think the rotor is engraved or only stickered on this one??

it seems to be the same movement with a different rotor. The "Hublot Geneva" is engraved but it looks like the V2 rotor (missing the "brushed" pattern on the original).

a V2 rotor..do you mean another hublot maker with V2.. but thats a V1 hbb do you think that two different factorys change parts together, interessting

but its realy strange tx, i searchd a bit around and it realy looks like a v2 rotor, also why has this one a stamp, the newer ones dont have this.. dont know if i take this one, cause its too old maybe and there are v2 parts in the watch...i maild that to the dealer. i will see but this is a bit to strange for me, but i dont think i can get my money back..dam

The rotor seems engraved just doesn't have the brushed pattern of the V1s.

It really looks like someone took a V2 rotor and put it on the V1. Now it's really strange the other rotor had a blue screw. It seems like some kind of refurbished watch. First they put a rotor that did not match the screw color then a good one but from a different factory. It may not mean anything but definitely not kosher.

Why would you want your money back? This is the best of both watches, the V1 watch with the high beat movement and best case construction/quality, and the more accurate V2 rotor, looks like a damn fine watch, aside from the missing regulator, one of the most accurate all black HBB's I have seen, even the date is black with grey background

How much did you pay for it?

FYI I purchased a V1 BB about a year ago from another member and it had the V2 rotor and similar 'H' rotor was a sticker though...

I'd take it, so long as it is the 28K movement. Best of both worlds.

And you don't need major mods:)

Exactly, you could do the regulator mod, maybe change the screws to silver, and you would be done!

Or leave it as is, because it looks sweet, I have a soft spot for the all black

oh guys, they didnt changed anything on the first watch, thats two different watches i checkd everything on both facepics.. they come both this way, ok when you guys dont mind anything bad its maybe good.

yes the black screws are good for a all black, they only dont used black screws at the ice bang.

I think you will not go wrong with this one Deniz. Its a beauty. DAMN i can't stop looking at it. Maybe if the H is a sticker, you can ask your dealer to mail an extra sticker to you and stick it on yourself to position it right...?

As a general rule does the saw tooth rotor bearing designate a high beat whereas the ETA style a low beat or is it only specific to a few of the hublot reps? For example the All black King?

Yes, Typically the saw tooth rotor is on the high beat A7750's. This is a easy mod though to put on the ETA bearing. I just had a chamfer cutter made to the correct angle to machine the rotor and actually install the ETA bearing instead of glueing it on.

It looks to be a dam nice watch Denis, close to perfect. You cant say that about to many reps "ootb" out of the box
