ryaku
Hi all, i'm just wondering if the SSD would fit my 6.8" wrist. I've never tried one and i'm wondering if it's more similar to the new SUb ceramic or to the old submariner. I read it's 2 mm thicker, due also to the thicker crystal, than the Submariner but i'd like to know if this is very evident or not so much. Besides, i read the dial is smaller, so ipresume it looks even smaller than the submariner on the wrist. Am i correct? I know it's been discussed many times and it's a very common dilemma, please just be patient. Thanks guys
asf
you can tell the difference if you've owned a sub. It is noticeably thicker which isnt a bad thing!
By-Tor
Sea-Dweller is a bit thicker than Sub, but it's not really thick. This is thick.
ryaku
By-Tor you arised a good point but i cannot even consider a Skyland for myself, way too thick (pity cause i love that dial ). I own a 12mm Sub and i think sometimes it's too flat compared to the new Sub-c. Moreover i like the idea of having a datewheel but no mag. I'm afraid i'll end up ordering a SSD light to see what i personally prefer.
UT Horn
Here is a post gioarmani did on repgeek: http://repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=75328&highlight=jackjo+ssd I just picked up a Jackjo SSD and it fits me fine and we have about the same wrist size. Not too big at all. I prefer the wrist presence over the Sub.
Jkay
well, with noobfactory having that crazy sale on their watches for the last month, you probably shouldnt wait much longer on getting an SD .. who knows when the sale will end. rosnik
Ryaku, I hope this can help you. Take in conunt that in SD the absence of the cyclope get the data reading just a bit difficult than in the sub. Wile the without cyclope shape is sure better.
