  1. Brain fart... I meant canvas and have been looking for a nice one like that.
  2. I like your nylon strap there, gavidoc! Where did you get it? Also, the lighting makes your insert look a really cool shade of blue. Beautiful watch.
  3. I think someone must be posting from happy hour.
  4. That is a great tell. Thanks for the pics and info.

Beautiful watch! Are those Alden Indys?
  6. That's a beauty, panerai153! Did the gen bracelet come with it or did you source it?
  7. Does that apply for the top hat crystal too?
  8. Where did you get the GS PA462-67 crystal for $10?
  9. Maria's best watch. There's a whole story to it, that I'll let someone else explain that has a better memory than I.
  10. I sent you a PM this afternoon with serious intent.
  11. There are some seriously beautiful watches on this thread. Thanks for sharing!
  12. Looks fantastic. Looking forward to seeing it installed.

  14. Beautiful watch, Marty. I picked up an F serial about a year ago and it has the curved "S". I still smile every time I see the watch despite the fact I wear it daily. Enjoy it!
  15. I would think you should be just fine swimming with the watch, but can understand if you are too nervous to actually do it. No reason why a noobmariner would be more water resistant than yours.
  16. Great job and thanks for the review. I have one that is getting the matte and superlume done to it now. It was a great rep out of the box and the mods will certainly make it a super rep.
  17. Chief, I just did the exact same thing about 2 weeks ago. My son was born in 2004 also and I bought a very nice F model that was purchased in 2004 from the original owner and I'm assuming made in '04. I'm going to wear the watch with the full intention of giving it to him at some point in my life (or by will if that comes first). I'm very careful with my watches/jewelry, so I expect it to be in fine condition when he receives it. I think any marks that do get on the watch will have some sentimental value for my son since he knew his old man wore it.
  18. Thanks, guys. It's a real pleasure to wear. Ubi, I tried to get the gen crown/tube on there, but Vac couldn't pull it off as he doesn't have a drill press. To be continued!
