best dssd?

guys as people know that the wm9 is the best sub to go for with the noob being a close 2nd, what is the equivalent in a dssd?

please....... do some research. This discussion has been beaten to death.. There's simply too many versions out there. I have a V5 "ultimate" from Trevor.. but plenty of other good versions out there ... use the search button.. it's your friend...

G'luck buddy - been asking that same question for ages, and the truth is there are no perfect reps for this yet. You need to figure out what flaws you're ok with, and what your budget is, and take it from there.

Run a search for DSSD in the rolex section - there have been quite a few discussions on this very recently. Should answer most of your questions

The hour markers on Trevors watch is the best I have ever seen on a DSSD I ordered myself a n00bfactory DSSD today.... And I envy you your hourmarkers. All other DSSD`s markers look "off"

I've been thinking about how to fix the flaws on both and with the present options i think this would make for the best rep-franken DSSD possible.

How to make the "perfect" DSSD:

• buy both the Ult (noob) and the trevor V5

• remove the bezel insert from the Ult, clean off the sticky and glue it back in so it sits lower.

• Have the trevor dial relumed and put it in the Ult (with a relumed pearl of course)

• get a clasp with better thumbnail definition, (maybe from a 316f sub?)

For my eyes, that would be as good as it gets ATM.

You could just buy a Trevor 2010 v5 and remove the bezel insert, sand it down a fraction of a millimeter and finish off the pearl with a drop of hard epoxy then re-install it.

When Trevor's factory source fixes the damn insert I am selling my Ziggified DSSD and getting it.
