I am now looking to take the plunge on a Pam Radiomir 183 Rose gold. What do you guys think? Good or bad? What are the flaws? I have looked in the forums but haven't been able to find much information. Would really appreciate your comments and/or photos. It's a fairly popular model but unfortunately I can't tell you much about it, besides the fact that ive thought about purchasing one several times.... Even though pams are so simple in design. NOT ONE has every been made that's even close to perfect. There's alot more nearly perfect breitlings, rolexes, hublots and omegas... but for some reason the factories can never get the perfect panerai! txcollector Posted August 19, 2010 Report Share Posted August 19, 2010 RG is usually a hard choice because the color is usually off. Another thing is the display caseback. The rep movements can't hold a candle to the gens. As for the dial, DSN is pretty good. Another thing to look for on rads is the length of the crown tube. Some cases they are too long. The main reason I like the 183 is because I'm not to keen on the crown guards. Are there better panerai reps than the 183 that don't have a cg? A6497 H movement with swan neck. 4. DSN Dials & Hands --> vaclume. 5. Tall H3 canon pinion mod. 6. Shortened crown tube. 7. Chief AR.
