kbh Posted August 20, 2010 Report Posted August 20, 2010 I personally don't have much faith in this part: SPECIAL MODIFICATIONS DONE - *The Additional USD120 Difference Explained* This "PERFECT" Submariner is specially sent for FULL SERVICE whereby the entire movement is completely overhauled, reassembled, serviced and re-lubricated with Swiss imported lubricants and the timing calibration adjusted to +/- 5 seconds per day (COSC Standards) Additional Seals and gaskets are added and watch is pressure tested to 5 bars and tested to 45m waterproof All of the above works are carried out by Swiss Trained Technicians **Above EXTRA works will cost about USD150-USD250 elsewhere Other than that it's a nice Sub. It just needs a new pearl.
alligoat Posted August 20, 2010 Report Posted August 20, 2010 I agree with KBH, just buy yourself a swiss eta noobmariner and save the extra money. Noobs are generally pretty WR right out of the box, but get it checked out by your watchmaker and go from there.
Dizzy Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 I always get a kick out of when they say "extra seals and gaskets installed... " lol uhm ok.. where do they install these magical gaskets??? hahaha I agree with Alligoat.. get the noobmariner.
signumboy Posted August 21, 2010 Author Report Posted August 21, 2010 Thanks for the replys . I already have a Nakiraa noob 21j. and was intrested if this was any improvement apart from the movement.
