That's a service document. He had some service performed on it for $180, didn't pay that much for the watch. On another note, look how thin the bracelet is. Never realized they were that thin! alligoat Posted March 22, 2006 Report Share Posted March 22, 2006 I've got a couple of the late 60's riveted bands and they are definitely on the flimsy side- hollow links and old fashioned clasp. The safety clasp was a good invention, because it kept the oyster band from inadvertantly popping open on you. My educated guess is that the 1680 cost around $400 in 1970.
