Best Way to Clean AR'd Crystals

I always use an optical cloth. Should I stay away from alcohol based cleaners?

I just use good old fashioned water and a microfiber cloth

I think alcohol based is ok. I bought some of those disposable Zeiss lens cleaning wet tissues. They have alcohol on them (at least smell like it), they work well on my AR coated eye glasses, thus I'd say it's safe for AR coating on the watch crystals as well. I would avoid solvent like acetone.

Alcohol should be fine. Stay away from ammonia-based products like Windex. All of my sunglasses have AR & I have been washing them with liquid dish washing soap & warm water for years without any degradation of the AR coatings.

In a pinch, I'll do the same. Give the crystal a quick lick and then wipe with a cloth/shirt.

Ya, spit and a T shirt works fine. Spit and jeans... sure. I don't know, most jeans seem a little rough though. I doubt you could scratch the coating with denim though.
