scottosaurus
Fur straps. Has this ever been done? It's not that different from leather when you think about it.

valerian
You should ask Nanuq... I am certain he specializes in Mammoth fur. Nanuq, wanna chime in? Val.

swdivad
Well, actually it would be a 'bit' different to leather... you'd have to shave that thing... or maybe wax, depending on your preference

asciwhite
1. Take a normal leather strap. 2. Shave your dog/cat or your GF`s puss 3. Gorilla glue it on...... Voila you have a fur bracelet *yuck*
scottosaurus
Ouch! You guys are harsh. Ok, I'll admit I opened myself up to a bashing. I was thinking with all the exotic straps out there (boa, hornback, elephant, cashmere camel, etc) that someone, somewhere would have tried a fur strap. It could be gaudy leopard spots or tiger stripes, but it could also be classy like black sable.
PeteM
Just banter mate There are plenty of strap makers doing fur straps, the most common I have seen is goat. But as it can attract unwanted attention from people with certain views I havent seen any on a guys wrist. Seen a few designers ladies watches with faux fur bands. I was not trying to bash you, just had a little fun. Sorry if this came across as being harsh. I honestly have not seen any fur straps, but I'm sure it's been done before. If you find some, please post a wristie. Nanuq obviously won't, although I heard he has some of those mammoth fur strapped ice age Rolexes hidden somewhere in an glacial cave. Val.
