gioarmani Posted September 25, 2006 Report Share Posted September 25, 2006 I just received my first Panerai from Davidsen this afternoon & I can't seem to find a tutorial on how to operate & set the watch. Queried for "panerai directions", "panerai instructions", "panerai how to", and the board doesn't seem to pull up anything. Can anyone provide a decent link? subzero1 Posted September 25, 2006 Report Share Posted September 25, 2006 1. Flip the crown guard lever down. 2. Pull the crown out. 3. Set the time. 4. Push the crown back up against the case. 5. Wind 40 to 60 turns. 6. Flip the crown guard lever up and closed. Repeat steps 1, 5, and 6 in 2 days. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The crown wasn't pulling out for the time set--there appears to have been a piece of the zip-lock it was shipped in wedged in the crown guard. Thanks again. If you gents can stomach the wait, I'm actually having my girl model this one when she gets back on Saturday (you might remember her from my Sub post ). I'm hoping I get the correct band from Davidsen by then--I wanted the smooth-ass black one above, but accidentally got this one: I'll keep you updated, and I'm sure you'll appreciate the pics when I shoot them...
