Where did you get the file set you used? And the flat laquer spray is from hobby store?

If any one has one still in bits could they mesure the date wheel alignment, ie from the seconds pinion to the out side of 23 (widest number i think)

Mines already sort of back together.. but it looks like about 10.75mm aprox. Hopefully someone can give you a better answer.

Ok well i mesured 10.66 but the variation may be the overlay positioning, it may be be that the error we are seeing whith these cartel dials is just the size of the window that is making it look odd have you got a face on shot of yours after modding the dial?

I dont have any other pics yet.. Lets go with your measurement of 10.66mm because as I said, mine was only aproximate. Im pretty sure that the issue here is only the silly small datewindow. When i put a gen dial onto the movement, the font was perfectly centered in the window.
