I don't remember the grains. But at first I used some rough sandpaper to remove the metal faster, then of course changed to smoother one when the cg's started to look more like they should. Then I used abrasive metal polishing paste (got it from a watch shop) to give it the mirror finish. I think Cape Cod could work with this too... I don't know, never tried. Good luck.
tmg Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 TDA, Use 400, 600, 800 and then 1000 and finish up as By-Tor said with rouge/paste -a dremel tool works fine.
