Whether its a fair reflection of their readers aspirations I doubt. In the first paragraph I notice that lack of understanding by the phrase ....."some with new movements produced-house.." !!!!! I think thats bourne out in the descriptions made and the choice for example on one based on nothing more than the bright red chrono hand!! I do want the Glashutte Senator Chrono XL though. Have been looking for a two register chrono for a long time. The reps of the Patek and Vacheron look beautiful (if not all that accurate) but the price of the gens has always kept me from owning one. Also liked the IWC Portuguese Chrono Yacht Club as well as the Cartier Calibre de Cartier. However, I really, really dislike the direction Breitling has gone with the Superocean. All in all not really much of a "Best New watches", more like "Here is a bunch of new watches" Still, nice to see an article on watches. Some real nice ones in there I hadn't seen before.
