Building a 5513

Can i get help on where to get a decent 5513 dial with an average price. I was thinking on a yuki dial but is it close to gen. I already have an MBW case for it and an eta 2783 movement. Is the movement close to a gen beatwise.

Any suggestion would be great

Thanks

Sly

The 5513 is powered by either the 1520 (19.8kbph) or 1530 (18.0kbph), neither of which hacks (a feature that causes the second hand to stop when the stem is pulled out into the time-setting position) or has a quick-set date function (which allows you to change the date separately from time-setting). There are minor variations between gen dials & no aftermarket dial is an exact match with any of them. So you need to research the gen options & choose whichever aftermarket parts contain the least objectionable sins (to you)

The 2783 beats at 21,600, just like a 2846 (which is a simple swap into the MBW case). Gen Rolex 15xx movements beat at 19,800, so 'close enough'.

I would go 2846, and shop around for a dial you like, be it from; Yuki, NDT, eBay, etc.

The MBW dial, if it is the same as the one that originally came with mine, is not a bad representation of the R O LEX spaced dial.

Here is my MBW 5513 with NDT "Ubi Modded Dial"

Thanks for the replies guys. The only thing I could find Gen. Cheap is gloss 5513(luminova)dial with surrounds for $300. What year would this fall into, If that's the only option on the cheap side.. Most of my watches already have the 2846 so i was thinking of going 2783.
