Prsist Posted November 26, 2010 Report Posted November 26, 2010 I have seen a wide range of sizes. Looking for the gen measurements. Case width and height.
Dizzy Posted November 26, 2010 Report Posted November 26, 2010 I could measure my Super Sea-dweller but I dont have a gen to measure... Off the top of my head its 39.5mm diameter and about 18mm thick.

Dizzy Posted November 26, 2010 Report Posted November 26, 2010 Its pretty thick. The case, bezel and crystal are all a little thicker than a submariner. I'll measure mine later today unless someone else has one handy. Im going to stay with my guess of 18mm thick.
alligoat Posted November 26, 2010 Report Posted November 26, 2010 Rosnik's table sums it up, but also bear in mind that the SD is not a sub and takes some distinctly different parts. The crystal is smaller- 286 something or other as opposed to the 295-C on a sub, insert is also different- 315-16600 or 315-16660- it's smaller than a sub insert- 315-16800. Bezel parts would be different part nos also. Crown and tube are the same as a sub.
rosnik Posted November 26, 2010 Report Posted November 26, 2010 Alligot, I'm totally in accord with you. Here my GEN & Rep:
Dizzy Posted November 27, 2010 Report Posted November 27, 2010 Yeah you guys are right. I must have been thinking of the vintage 1665 which is thicker.
