seafoam
Does anyone know if Yuki's vintage pearl or dot will sit comfortably in an MBW insert? Anyone have any experience with this? sf
Nanuq
It fit perfectly in a gen 1665 insert, and that's the same size as a 1665 MBW insert. So you ought to be set. I found it to be a lot yellower than I anticipated, so I wound up drilling it out and refilling with ivory appliance paint to get the right color to match my dial. seafoam
Thanks for the feedback Nanuq. I was under the impression that they came clear for you to add your own choice of lume color. ???
bkwbkw
Fits fine in my mbw insert. Just remember to add a dab of glue behind it to secure it.

Hmmmmmmm. I got the vintage, faded, über expensive ones from awhile ago ... maybe those are different? Come to think of it, $25 for pathetic little plastic button is über expensive no matter what's in it. Gold dust? Sign me up!

bkwbkw
Clarks (nostalgia 2000) on the bay has pearls for $14. Can't speak for the quality since I've never seen one in person. Next time I buy some xtals, hands and inserts from them, I'll add a pearl to my cart.
Nanuq
Sheesh, I participated in this topic, and just now looked at my wrist... and my pearl is gone. Good thing we weren't discussing Male Enhancement products.

Zackb911
Has anyone tried the Clark pearl mentioned above? $17 shipped is nicer than $30 shipped for a tiny spec of plastic.

Gileto
Ofrei just replied my mail about international shipping cost, they say you just have to write "send as postmail" in the order comments and the shipping will be 6.95$...
