mas6002mi
any chance of seeing a A7753 movement in one of these beauties anytime soon??? the recessed date wheel on the current A7750 really does bother me a lot............
Mickey Padge
Why? The gen uses a recessed 7750 based movement, not an ETA 7753! How would you change the date? Why would you want to use the wrong movement?

Jos Nana
Sometime its fun to see people posting without knowing what they are posting ... Hublot is not using 7753 and the date is Recessed !!!
txcollector
the recessed date wheel on the current A7750 really does bother me a lot............ that's how the gen looks since they all use ETA7750 with a modified bridge. So you want to use a more expensive movement to make the watch less like the gen?
KB
Hey easy up guys, everyone has at least one noobie blooper to their name. Ken
anics
I had Francisco mod one of my BB last year and he lifted the date wheel to match the gen more (new 2 Geek DW). He does a very good job, if you're interested maybe drop him a line? There are some pics of the mods he did on the forum somewhere, under this section I believe? Nice guy and very good at what he does... Take care A
mad_man_may
Yeah you're right. I've made a few and I'm sure I'll post a few more bloopers too!
mas6002mi
i was just trying to resolve the recessed dw.. the A7750 dw is too recessed, the Gen does not have a recessed dw for sure............. instead of paying SF for his dw mod, i think it will be cheaper to get the a7753 and stick it in........ txcollector
Maybe it's lighting, maybe is the Tuiga but most 44mm HBBs have sunken DW. Besides you will lose the ability to quick change the date since that can't be done via the crown with the 7753. Also with a display caseback I'm not sure the 7753 will the best option if you are really looking for accuracy.

Samurai
You could, however, get a Swiss ETA 7750 put in the HBB. However, this is not a straight fit and does require some mods.
Samurai
Or go with the low beat version .. The dw on a couple of my low beats are less recessed than the 28.8 k versions.
jchurch
I was under the impression that all HBB had the recessed wheel lol. All genuine from dealer in LasVegas.
anics
Of course, we all know that the only person that will "call you" on the sunken date wheel (should they see it on your rep) will be an AD (if they get close enough) or one of us lot... If it's an AD, well... you're busted - bad times... If it's one of us, well... go and have a couple of cold ones together and compare watches - good times! What a great hobby! Enjoy the weekend, unless your snowed in... in which case, enjoy the internet... A
