ArkoN
So I received my items from www.diystorm.com^^ It was sent with ems express on the 16th and I got it today. I had to pay much to my customs(about 50$) I dont know really why, but thats our custom system. They dont block the items but let u pay a lot... But I also made a cloth orders over 400$ on other dealers and payed less. Have to check this. I own fake clothes and the real ones. Im into fakes since 2008 and nobody ever noticed that I wear fakes. Good friends of mine knew it trough me. Some were shocked and thought they were real. So lets start the review. First the order was 100% correct in size, colour and printing. Most of them are a little bit dirty(I did not clean them up to make the photos, there just out of the box). I review here Ed Hardy fake vs Gen, Lacoste Fake vs Gen, Ralph Lauren Fake vs Gen. Then I review True Religion Jeans, La Martina Shirts, Abercrombie & Fitch Shirts Lets start with Ed Hardy, Ive ordered 2 shirts for me and 2 for my girlfriend. Overall great quality, but the first one is the worst Ed Hardy. fake (Ed Hardy) I dont like the bad printing on this fake one, look at the real shirt in the next image. real (Ed Hardy) The white label is the fake one the next ones are all fake Ed Hardys (this has a good quality) (for woman, good quality) (for woman, good quality) The next one Ralph Lauren, overall not bad, the textile feels good. The printing/sticking could be better. fake (Ralph Lauren) (Its possible that this is a fake of another model then I own as gen) real (Ralph Lauren) fake (Ralph Lauren) real (Ralph Lauren) The fake one is on the left. Now Lacoste vs the real one fake (Lacoste) real (Lacoste) fake (Lacoste) real (Lacoste) fake (Lacoste) real (Lacoste) So on the next items I dont have a real one to compare. Overall the textil quality feels good. fake (La Martina) fake (La Martina) fake (La Martina) fake (Abercrombie & Fitch) fake (Lacoste) fake (Lacoste) fake (Lacoste) Last but not least, True Religion Jeans. The textil feels very soft for a jeans. I dont know how the real one feels. I made also some pics while Im wearing. Im sorry for some blurred pictures. fake (True Religion) fake (True Religion) fake (True Religion) fake (True Religion) fake (True Religion) fake (True Religion) fake (True Religion) So thats it, I`m tired now ;-) Overall, make yourself a picture. The quality is mixed, but thats always in the rep world of clothes. Some are very good some are from not so good to bad. ArkoN

ArkoN
My girlfriend owns also the real one from one item, so lets make a little quiz, which one is fake and which one is real? Lets start with just the backside: item1 item2
agp
I'm gonna say the first one is real? The second one seems like someone painted on a black shirt. Edited December 27, 2010 by agp
T-MAN
Great great review!! The real questions are. Would you order again from diystorm and how does the quality compare to other rep dealers such as Bergies? It sounds as Ken's stuff may be more consistently higher quality. What about price? Gonna say 1st one is real too!!

Gonna say 1st one is real too!! Yes I would order again from distorm, but "only" Ed Hardy,A&F and True Religion. I washed the clothes this evening and have to wear it to really tell. This price is cheap, with ems express shipping u have to add 2-5$ to each item, but the itemprice is really low. I`m interested also in other dealers such as Bergies, if he can source better Lacoste items for example.
Zackb911
Are all the sizes pretty true to Gen? I wear a Medium in most things with 32" waist and have been thinking about placing a large order, I'd just hate to get everything and have it all be too small. PatronSaintofChainsaws
Take a razor blade to this label, and you'll find a "Made in USA" label hiding inside of it (I'm not kidding):

chronos666
KB's Lacoste and RL items have been consistently high quality. Go with Bergies instead of this crap.

Then I can compare gen vs dy vs yours.
Zackb911
Does KB have a site or just his scetion on here? I browsed through some of his threads, it does seem like comparing apples and oranges for example diystorm has spyder jackets for $35 while KB's are ~$175, personally I can find Gens on sale or closeout cheaper than KB's reps. I don't doubt that his supply is good but at what cost... He seems not even in the same league price wise.

KB
For the benefit of Zack and others that may wish to know.... There most definitely is not a large saving when purchasing some of my replica jackets, this is mostly the cheaper Spyder and A&F jackets. The reason for this is simple the cheaper versions cost pretty much the same for the makers to produce as the more expensive (read 1K plus gens) versions. That said if anyone is honestly silly enough to buy a ski jacket for 35 bucks then good luck to him, we all know we can't buy a no name parker from our local stores for that. It is also very easy to add a Spyder label to a jacket that bears no resemblance to the genuine item at all. All said and done this is my last post in this thread, no other dealer would have taken the time to try and educate the masses like I have and we all know that those that continue to go back to DIY are the same people on an eternal quest for the 60 buck watch. borz
No offense, but some of your items are more expensive than their gen counterparts, especially A&F jackets which can be found at deep discounts on A&F.com or any other online retailer. Same goes for ski jackets, there's plenty of sub-$200 jackets on sierratradingpost or campmor that are made out of real GoreTex or Entrant fabric and not some scary carcinogenic chinese stuff that's probably about as waterproof as a sieve and as breathable as rubber. As far as diystorm junk goes, you might as well go to chinatown and get it there - same thing, only cheaper.
KB
@ borz if you can find the gen cheaper then buy it, I can only price my items from the prices the factory gives me. It is for this reason I often tell customers to seek out gens when items I have are to close the the same price. However this only applies to a very few items the vast majority of my goods are way below gen prices. Ken
