So If I had this watch and It needed a BW I would be [censored] out of luck? dam. I guess the owner would have to send It PP to be repaired,hate to see that bill

Some Pateks ran movements from 3rd party suppliers, so you would need to know what was in it. It could be a quick and easy repair.

But agreed, if it had to go back to PP the repair/service would be as much as the watch.

Even then for a solid gold PP

BTW, If its in a pawn shop, he will have a load of margin...probably can be had for $1500, even $1k. I'll bet he paid very little for it...if anything.
