Yuki dial on PT 1680?

hi All,

I picked up a PT 1680 recently and had begun modding it with a clark crystal, a gen 702 crown/tube, lug holes, gen spring bars, etc.. and then took a close look at the dial and was appalled at the lack of quality and QA in the print and font. The date wheel opening was too far right, therefore the any date over the 9th would be either cut off or hidden from view, as seen below - it's the 11th and I can only see the 1 in 11. But the worst part is the printing of the 200m = 660ft as shown below.

Anyone try fitting a postless yuki dial over the PT 2846 movement? Will the datewheel line up with the window?

Dumb questions, I know - but I'd like to hear some experiences before investing the $$ into a new dial which costs almost as much as the watch its going into.

Thanks!
