evening guys, basically my gf bought me a sub from josh for xmas, well the time came to mod the cg's, i assumed it was an eta but when i opened it up it was a 3135 clone! :black_eye: take it my gf thought it was the best option. well back to the topic, i removed the stem fine. modded the cg's, went to put the stem back into the movement an the little depress button has got stuck in, what can i do now, as i dont fancy taking it all apart.unless its an easy fix? hope you can help! :thumbsupsmileyanim:

You'll have to remove the hands, dial and datewheel to access the keyless works. From there, you can readjust the release.

On an ETA, you might even be able to see the release from the side of the movement and gently massage into place with the end of a 1.0mm screwdriver.

Best rule of thumb; Only use a 1.2mm screwdriver tip to release the stem!

There are multiple tutorials about how to do this. A "3135 clone" is just a clone ETA 2836 with some extra stuff stuck to it so any ETA tutorial should set you straight.

You need a dial protector (ie piece of paper) hands puller, screwdrivers and a couple of pairs of good tweezers (I use delrin ones on the hands and sharp steel ones for the keyless works). I've never used a screwdriver to release the stem release, I just use a pushpin and am careful...

i dont feel comfortable taking the hands an dial off, more the hands than the dial, just removed the movement again an tried to gently move back into place but i was unsuccessful with that, is there any uk or eu modders on here that would be willing to do this work for me? thanks for your help
