maxman Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 Do you think these will be reped anytime soon? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eStiiXKO728&feature=related I would give my left nut for that MB&F,or at least seriously think about It
scottosaurus Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 I still don't get these fantasy watches. The cases are cool though.
L8terz Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 I've actually seen a couple of these cubed watches in Tourneu in Vegas. These things are amazing and cost a fortune. I'm not sure of what brand it was but definately very similar.
Bike Mike Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 Urwerk for sure! Very impressive from concept to execution. Just very creative in the different methods in showing time.
mastrmindalliance Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 They're interesting, but both of them are ugly as. I've seen watches that look like this in the Ben 10 section at toyworld.
crossbones Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 Def look like $50 kids watches but wow! interesting, thanks for posting!
maxman Posted February 8, 2011 Author Report Posted February 8, 2011 Beauty Is always In the eye of the beholder,a lot of people think Pams are ugly I dont feel either of these two watches are aesthetically pleasing. But the thought of these things running under there own power Is quite amazing. The talent and skill to make a movement that do the things these watchs do is Impressive to say the very least,Imho anyway.

StormTooper4 Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 Its an awesome bit of horological engineering , but obscene cost
plaifender Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 How much do these watches cost?? I imagine hundreds of thousands or something obscene like that. I love the rotating cubes. engineering novelty

I love the rotating cubes. engineering novelty I couldn't imagine wearing them unless you had a very indoors sit at a desk and dont move your wrist job. I would be interested to know how well they hold up in "real world" use conditions. Not at an AD, etc.

vafarmer70 Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 Alright so I will be bidding against someone I know! I guy from The D as well! You should pool your money, then share wrist time. More bang for your buck that way.
