That's very nice gives me an idea for the wife's chrissy pressie! What movement's in it?

Its a jap quartz, so keeps excellent time. I think Andrew does an ETA version but the price would be correspondingly higher.

I would recommend this one though (for the money).

It does look really nice. The Gold/Silver one is awesome too. I as looking to get one for my GF. Quartz version is cheap and reliable, everything she isn't :p

That's very beautiful. One of the nicest looking ladies' watches I've seen.

Your pics are very good as well. You just need to fix the white balance. ;)

I appreciate such positive comments from one so experienced. Many thanks.

I realise I need to improve my photo skills, they are only as good as they are due to the camera, not me! I will take your advice on white balance with thanks.

BTW, Mrs Slartibartfast is so pleased with your comments that she will now agree to take the watch off when cleaning the bogs!

Cheers

Btw, how is the quality of the bracelet ? It's something I always wonder when I'm looking for a watch that user "special" bracelet (non replaceable)

Very nice -- may have to pick one up as well.

The ladies constellation is one of the nicest timepieces around. I got one for my wife as well a few months back. Beware of the clasp however, as my wife blamed her losing hers due to the bad design/quality of the clasp at Toys R Us about a month ago.

I got the two tone Connie for my wife as well. She likes it a lot.

The pins in the links are a problem. I have had to replace two.

Be careful. For a 100.00 it is a nice ladies rep.

I know what you mean, this is the only flaw so far. Especially as Mrs Slartibartfast wears her watch on her right wrist, which places the clasp button next to her hand, so it gets triggered very easily.

Still for less than $100 you cant expect a masterpiece!

In any case, she remains very happy with this watch.

The quality of the bracelet is ok for a sub $100 watch. It is smooth, has a reasonable quality feel, but I imagine not quite the same as an original. Perhaps ours is cotton, and omega's silk, if you know what I mean. What more can you say?
