The watch so far is perfect, looks amazing, love the instant date change etc...

Two main concerns i need help with.

1. When changing the date, it seems like it is not catching, is that a common problem? Is there a special trick to getting it to work? I have forwarded time and no, I am not around midnight when changing the date. an ideas? if maybe people can tell me this is normal, then i wont keep trying to play with it.

2. In the pic above, the mushroom part for the clasp to click onto, i have heard there are problems with this part breaking off, I am trying to be careful by closing and opening while holding the side buttons. Judging by my pics above, does it look like it has been fixed or do i still need to be careful?

Day 1....with my PO

Not sure what happened, but the QC pics had +7sec/24 hours, It is currently running very fast, +6 mins within 1 hour and randomly stopping.

Moving onto another watch... looks like a lost cause. Everything else looks pretty, but no point in wearing a watch that isnt keeping time.

I had a Carrera A7750 which has kept very consistent time at +4/24 hours everyday (manually regulated).

I tried opening it up and regulating and no matter how far i turn the tab, its still way too fast.

Not sure if any of you guys have any recommendations.

It sounds like this piece was damaged in transit. It happens. Email your dealer and he will replace it.

If it's not an a21j then you can have it fixed locally or thru a forum modder. If it is an a21j you can just replace the entire movement with a band new one for under 50 bux.

  • 1 month later...

Tried opening up for repairs but was not able to salvage the movement. I had an old alpha movement I was trying to move it in there but couldn't get the date wheel to align. Currently sitting on my desk without a movement inside. Anybody got any ideas on where I can get a replacement movement with a black date wheel?

Not sure what happened with the movement, out of all the watches I had, never had one go out like this before. The qc pics had +4/ day which is awesome, but after 24 hours when it arrived, it was going mins fast per hour. I have regulated other watches and was not able to do this one though.
