Nanuq Posted June 10, 2011 Report Posted June 10, 2011 I'm thinking about letting this old clunker go, for the right price, to the right buyer. It's from 1964 and all original save the über rare "radial" dial. To follow forum rules, it looks like these go for $6,000 to $11,000 but none of those examples had this dial. I'm not real sure how to price that. Anyone I know well got a serious jones for this old heap? Let me know.
freddy333 Posted June 10, 2011 Report Posted June 10, 2011 I'm thinking about letting this old clunker go Why oh why?
JoeyB Posted June 10, 2011 Report Posted June 10, 2011 That's just an amazing build story. Fantastic perseverance, and killer results! Let me know when you toss a $100 black dialed 6542 together, I'll give you several times that amount in exchange! Ummm...trade ya'??
Nanuq Posted June 10, 2011 Author Report Posted June 10, 2011 I promise I'll take good care of it in my "museum"!
asf Posted June 10, 2011 Report Posted June 10, 2011 Talk about simulating vintaging from being meteor that threw the watch into the sun
René Posted June 11, 2011 Report Posted June 11, 2011 I think the dial is not from 1964,ithink the dial is from begin from the 70`s. regards René btw the watch is nice
Nanuq Posted June 11, 2011 Author Report Posted June 11, 2011 Merci René, d'accord, c'est du début des années 70, tout le reste est d'origine.
