bolido2000
Hi guys, been a lurker for a while and decided to get a Blacksteel v2 as my first rep from Tony. What do you guys think of the QC pics? Is the 3 o'clock lume really off or its just the angle?
Mickey Padge
The lume is not perfect, but it's better than most I have seen, sweet watch!
hackR
i'd ask him for another...lume@3 is really noticeable...it would bother me knowing its there...so if it bothers you, ask him for another...it's ok to ask for another and note you want one with better lume dots... Mickey Padge
All the others are perfect though, the next one may not be as nice It is a rarity to see one with perfect lume, unless it has been relumed. I would ask to see the bezel centered at
bolido2000
thanks for the feedback! To be honest I don't know how much it would bother me to know one of the lume dot is off in real life. I know some people say that lume dots being off are not really noticeable unless you really look for them. I'll ask for the bezel position at
plaifender
Seeing as how the rest of the lume dots are quite acceptable.. I'd be reluctant to ask for another sample.. Unlike a lot of the normal V2 and (especially)V3 skylands, the blacksteel version tends to have more misaligned lume dots (at least in my opinion). If you only have one lume dot slightly off.. I'd live with it. I have about 3 dots, but honestly barely notice them unless I'm really looking. If you eventually plan on getting a relume.. the dots can be adjusted perfectly anyways
Baryonic Matter
I know this might seem like a stupid question, but I'm new at this, be gentle. Which dealer is the 'Tony' mentioned in the first post? .

Guest mikemcnair
I have this, and love it!! My boss has the same one, but I modified the lume on mine, and LOVE IT. Take a peek.... You can see the stock VS mine Can even see it in daylight I say go for it, and relume it, and wear it in good health! It's a beautiful watch. Only think I had to do was get a strap made for it, which is this.... The rubber is ok, but I want leather with deployant, so ACH Straps made this for me Good luck, and enjoy it often!!! wimpie007
I like the idea but i would go for one color lume mate. It looks like 4 now. 2 shades of green and blue
