addingwatch Posted March 23, 2006 Report Share Posted March 23, 2006 I don't know which it is called, but the newer reps do not have the correct color. The true 212 color is the same as other PAM's. I am not shure about this: I just read a 212 article in a current watch magazine and the pretty nice pics show a white/ cream tone. Not the greenish one as the C3 does have. But.... I cannot think of any PAM that uses a different colour except the Tritium types (there is a PAM 24 that uses a very light grey Tritium) and maybe some of the ltd edition Radiomirs use a whitish lume. It's confusing because in the Panerai brochures the lume looks white. I had the same problem judging my 188 which looks white in the pictures but is also definitely C3.
