andreww
This one is 3 or 4 years old but has always been one of my favorites. Not very accurate as compared to the $100,000 gen which was made of platinum. The rep has faux chronos that are adjusted via 4 separate pushers, two on each side of the case. The caseback pops open with a 5th pusher and reveals a nice work of art (decorated movement) and a beautiful painting too! Thought you might enjoy a good look at this piece! Here is the gen Edited October 19, 2006 by andreww
jonthebhoy
I most certainly enjoyed. Thanks for posting. When I first joined the boards nearly 3 years ago - these were very popular and it's easy to see why. JTB
andreww
Even though it a beautiful piece, it shows how far we have come in 3 years!
robertk
It's still a winner!
gran
It's still a winner! but remember that no matter how beautiful it may look its faux and it still has that silly smiling sun instead of a moon phase
NaviChief
The hunt for a rep of that watch is what brought me into the whole world of replicas and eventually here. I wish another advancement would come along for that model, but I am no longer holding my breath. Great pics!
andreww
I guess there are too many complications to do it up right. It actually uses a Lemania movement, not automatic. The date, day, moon phase, month and leap year window are all added complications.
gran
It actually uses a Lemania movement, not automatic. Are you sure? In the pictures above it is depicted as having an Seiko-like automatic movement (not really relevant in this discussion....but I would like to add that the movement typically refered to as the Lemania movement by replica dealers is actually a Chinese Sea-Gull copy of the VENUS 175 movement) The date, day, moon phase, month and leap year window are all added complications. I presume you mean added "faux" complications? and likely only the date and day are actually functional Regards gran
