www_watch
I usually keep my PAMs very straight OEM-like. Rubber or tan calf, sometimes black croc. But with the new 253I being that good, I thought it deserved something special. I wasn't sure which manufacturer I should go with, so I started "annoying" PeteM for a suggestion. He said "why not give Manifatture Firenze a try"... So I had a look at their shop. They offer a nice variety of leathers and all sorts of customizable features. I went for a black buffalo with blue stitch to match the 253's chrono hand. With the 115/75mm standard size always being a bit short for me, I also ordered the 130/85mm oversize which they offer without extra cost. Final cost incl. shipping was 107,- Euros which I think is pretty reasonable. Delivery took 12 days which isn't too bad either for a custom made item. It even comes in a little box and bag for storage. I really like the raw grain of the buffalo leather. It's a nice variety to the smooth calf straps I normally wear. The stitching is very well made and luckily the blue colour I chose is pretty much dead on just the way I wanted it. So here are some pics: I think that won't be the last strap I ordered from them. Thx for watching.

lantis
I'm really tempted to buy one of these. Very nice with the strap you ordered! Is it me though or the "Flyback" is a little crooked in this pic? EDIT: sorry it's the "Regatta" that I was looking at, not the "Flyback" The reason I'm asking is there's a guy in RWI that posted about the "LUMINOR" in his flyback is tilting. Can't see it in his picture though:
www_watch
Here's a close-up shot. I can't see tilt in any of the lines. It just goes perfectly in line with the hobnail texture.

flin0310
Congratulation! PeteM is right that MF is the best aftermarket strap manufacturer for PAM in the world. The real Firenze; real top hide and buckle; real top quality, every PAM fans must get at least one strap from MF. I have worn my RXW MM20 with MF 1942 strap sewn brushed GPF buckle almost 6 years. The strap changed into very beautiful vintage ember tan color, almost like what you saw the strap on vintage PAM watch book.

bensonp
www : is your hands color black or silver? In the photos above they seem to be black. I thought the original supposed to be silver just like plaifender's? Or maybe its the lighting that affects the photos.
www_watch
Or maybe its the lighting that affects the photos. That's exactly what it is. Everything else but silver hands would be SOO wrong.
