Josh has offered the AP Diver from the get go...

Now I see Pure time is offering V2 of the same Noob factory model.

Is really a version 1 (Josh) and a better version V2 different from Puretime different from one another?

I see too, that for an additional 65.00 there is a SW 200 movement...is the additional money worth it?

Any body know???

I think if it's a Noob diver, they are all the same. SW200 movement is an option no matter who you purchase from.

I enjoy mine with SW200, btw. I bought it from Tony.

If it has the squared date window and does not say roya oak on the case back it is the same version that all the others are currently offering.

Anything without writing on the caseback is incorrect and should be avoided.

Just don't understand while the V2 has almost everything spot on, it uses the thin ring gasket for the caseback sealing instead of the hexa-shaped gasket used in V1. Or shall the construction of the V2 caseback is diferent which bars it from using the proper hexa gasket? This also puts a question on the water sealing ability of the V2.

you and me both. The only version I see is the one that Josh is offering which has the writting on the caseback and from his pics the caseback gasket seems to have the same hex shape as the caseback???

You probably won't seethe v1 model anymore. That model had a circular date mag which is way more glaring than the lume sticks

Unless you get it lumed! Then it will look pretty darn close even side by side. The font is the thing that is the mean call for me. But I have one being built by Vac so we shall see.

I'm still having trouble seeing what you are referring to. Do you mean that the hour markers on the rep are a tad bit shorter than on the gen?

The biggest issue on the markers is the thickness and profile of the lume. This is AP's dive watch so they literally stuffed the markers and hands with lume. A relume solves it very nicely.

V1 or V99, nothing will ever be the same as a gen....period.

Looking for gen quality and perfect dial , movement, case, hands , lume, etc.

BUY the gen for 15,000, and be happy?

I am wearing V2 , it is on my wrist right now...and I am happy to have it. paid some 300 bucks for it.

I am happy to own such a well made, quality rep classic. I guess that is just me.
