redwatch
Question for the pro's here. First off, I have a gen insert on a noobmariner that has a pearl that was cracked and then fell out. I remember that there was a really good pearl replacement, but I can't remember the store/eBay seller that had them. Was it Watch Material or something like that? Also, does anyone have a spare 2836-2 lying around? I have the correct DW with overlay, so I just need a working movement for this guy. Thanks! redwatch
What's wrong with the current 2836? It's been transplanted into another watch This noob sub has been "on the list" for over a year now. When the insert fell out, the only way I could get it back on was to remove the bezel. That was my first introduction to never remove a noobmariner bezel!!! I bent it quite badly. Got another noob case, but the bezel was still attached and I bent that one too. Finally I had it this week and started working on it again and I managed to straighten it out successfully and got the insert re-installed. Now I just need a movement and a pearl

Are you thinking of selling it? Does it have the date/calendar mechanism in it? I don't need a date wheel, but it would be good to have the parts for it
mastrmindalliance
Perhaps, just got to tidy up the projects and decide which ones to pursue. unfortunately it doesn't have the calendar mech sorry.

sneed12
I have 3 or 4 Swiss ETA 2836's, a clone 3135, and an Asian 2836 kicking around in the parts box, but I won't be home until the 26th, I'm on a business trip. If you're still looking then I'll hook you up.
