I know my rep SMP GMT had too much dome on the crystal compared with the gen, and to top it off, the crystal was not sapphire and got quite scratched up from a kid playing with it on a hardwood floor.

I have not seen the brand new generation yet. I have been told it is a 1-1 copy and the photos look flawless. The older version was a mess.

I don't know about the domeness on the SMP chrono's crystal, but I do know you spend way too much time in the arcade!!!!!!!!

The crystal is perfect compared to the gen but it lacks ARcoating so it reflects more light in certain situations. After I have decided whether to keep it or not I will have the inside coated as per OEM crystals.
