Jkay Posted October 4, 2011 Report Posted October 4, 2011 KB is the forum soft goods merchant. He is tops for service and quality. Go to BERGIES sub-forum here
japanic Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 If you are truly concerned about protecting your eyes, just spend the extra money and buy genuine ray bans, a good pair of wayfarers or clubmasters are still cheaper than your standard reps with a swiss movement.
KB Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 The top replica sunglasses these days offer as much UV protection as the genuine's. However the range is limited and expensive. As stated above for what you pay for the rep you would be far better off spending a little more for the gen. Ken
ninja Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 I got some rayban aviators from ioffer for $12, look awesome and feel good and have UV as well
KB Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 For $12 I wouldn't wear them outside the house. Ken
maxman Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 For $12 I wouldn't wear them outside the house. Ken
sarkazz Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 Buy gen polarized Ray-Bans and you'll never go back :-) The frame screams quality, and, well, you'll never wear non-polarized glasses again, I assure you.
maxman Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 I picked up some brand new Clubmasters with a nice carring case on Ebay for $72.00...shipping Included. I just love them...these are the ones I got.
wat44 Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 there was a thread on RWG where a guy has a mate who is an optomatrist - he bought cheap raybans off ioffer and had them tested for UV protection - they passed
KB Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 Undoubtedly that is possible R because as you know even $10 sunnies out of service stations here in Aus must have the min UV protection. However not everyone has a friend who is a optomatrist and buying cheap replica sunglasses from China is always going to be pot luck, if UV lenses are handy they will put them in, if not they wont.
