Hello everybody,

I'm a French man, living next to Saint-Malo (Britany).

I have a 16520 case (N serial), without the movement. I have bought a Zenith el primero 3019 phc movement to place into my case but it doesn't fit perfecly into. The two pushers chronograph don't fit with the pushers case. Is a Ebel 134 movement could fit perfectly inside my rolex case?

Thank you very much.

Stephane

Zeleni, What does "<acronym title='Crown Guard'>CG</acronym>" please?

I have paid this case 45 euro on Ebay 2 years ago....Oufff!

45€ well then your safe :) i thought this was a gen case you hade or thought you have!

CG (crown gard) is the thing surounding the crown.

Bonjour de France, Stephane :)

To be clear, there is only 5 ways to have good cases here : cartel dealers (Josh, Andrew, etc.), DW, Yuki, NDT, or Phong.

I think you should consider buying a Phong's case kit if you have money, and if you do not want to bother about movement fitting.

NDTrading is also selling a case, but it's IMO a bad case, like I said in another thread.

I don't think DW or Yuki selling 16520 cases.

And cartel do not provide any El Primero-based cases...

So... I think the Phong choice is your only easy way to have a correct case :

Guys, please correct me if I'm wrong ;)

Movement who are not fitting is a common problem when you are making a Rolex rep with El Primero or Valjoux 72x.

Especially with El Primero, if I trust what I seen before :bangin:

The case you have here on eBay is a 7750 case. I guess your current case is also a 7750 case. This will never fit an El Primero :)

Height is an important problem?

Yes. The movement and dial have to sit at a certain level in the case for proper rehaut and the crown and pushers then have to line up with the case as well.

Stem height is crucial for this particular project. If the stem is not center inside the case tube (i.e. the stem is too high/too low) the stem is going to snap.

Yup. I just broke 4 stems this weekend, trying to cheat this truth on a project :( I dunno why I kept thinking "maybe this time it'll work!"
