Sourcing a 1665 gen insert

Pics like that make me want to fade my gen '66 insert. :)

I did not artificially fade mine. It was purchased from a retired diver. If you like the insert/bezel, you should have seen the rest of his watch. I wish I could have convinced him to part with it (he was not into the faded thing at all & had a new insert installed - 1 man's trash............).

I have a rep insert that looks very much like Freddy's except I have no pearl. I purchased a vintage pearl but it did not fit. That's why I've decided to go with a gen insert with pearl.

My DRSD dial is an NDT dial with some PB patina lume on it. I find my that greyish-blue insert looks better on my great white dial which has a similar look as Freddy's (ie no yellowish patina).
