jmb Posted January 1, 2012 Report Share Posted January 1, 2012 I have wanted a Blue DJ Franken for quite some time but it seems the dial prices always skyrocket out of sight so I'll have to settle for a "pure" rep for right now. I picked up some of these rep dials that are drop-dead sexy in the flesh so I decided they would make a good "stand-in" until I luck upon a gen dial I could afford. All in all it is a great looking dial, the markers have good alignment, and the "sunburst" in direct light is eye-popping. Under magnification the only thing, aesthetically, that I'm not real wild about is the coronet but it looks fine on the wrist. Most features of this dial yell "modern" era to me but the bottom of the dial is imprinted T SWISS MADE T which would make me think a bit older which makes me think I might should drill the lugs and install a plexi crystal.
