freddy333 Posted February 22, 2012 Report Posted February 22, 2012 That's beautiful Freddy! Thanks. I just pulled it apart to update some nagging issues with the case (reshaping the CGs, replacing the beveled Tropic 19 with a domed 1 & reseating the valve) & decided I might as well overhaul the movement while I had it out

Might as well! You make t wait for my 5514 that much harder
freddy333 Posted February 22, 2012 Report Posted February 22, 2012 Will it have a working He valve? What are the details on your 5514?

Ronin Posted February 22, 2012 Report Posted February 22, 2012 Wearing what I think is my favorite watch of all time... @Freddy333 and others working on 1575 movements - Pick up an actual PRECITEC MSA 09.010-26 movement holder. A dream for working on the movement with or without Rotor and Dial. Flip to one side for dial-up, flip to other side for dial-down work.
asf Posted February 22, 2012 Report Posted February 22, 2012 Will it have a working He valve? What are the details on your 5514? It should be working, it was W's that he was selling pieced by Ubi and Zig. It's a Yuki HE valve in a MBW case

I use them sometimes (they fit other Rolex calibers, too), but, generally, I like having my work locked in place with access to boths sides
