Insert fitment question for sub!

I have a sub that I just got a flat 4 insert for and when I go to snap it in the bezel it goes in very nice except for when I rotate the bezel the insert seems to be to loose! it just goes where ever it wants to and I can move it around with my fingers...I was thinking of maybe flattening it out but I do not know how to do that and I also do not want to damage my insert or the bezel...experts let me know what I should do!

Is your sub a bk? If so the retaining ring will need altering/filing to fit I think.

the insert is to small not the bezel it supposed to snap it. it floats around inside.

Does anyone know if it's possible to flatten the insert to make it snap in more fit?

If it looks like a pretty good fit I would just add a few pin head size drops of hypo cement.Just my 2 cents.

either cement it with hypo cement......or get a bigger insert.....is it a clarks insert?

No it's a gen but a flat 4 not a pointed 4 which is correct for that year

I would but I just hate having to glue anything to a watch! Just not my style...is it possible to flatten the insert do that it is a little wider?

I would try to keep it's original shape.If glued it can still be removed pretty easy if needed by removing the bezel.Sometimes you

even have to do this with gens.

you mean this. is a TC sub with old style insert

Very nice sub you have there! This insert is for a 16613 but same concept! Also on SS sub subject ill be adding a gen dial to my sub here very soon
