redwatch Posted April 3, 2012 Author Report Posted April 3, 2012 The case & case back are the new TC Submariner case set. It's a V-Serial case with the rehaut engravings removed. Case will be going out for some lug hole work later this week.

redwatch Posted April 3, 2012 Author Report Posted April 3, 2012 I am thinking I probably will age it a little bit. After the lug holes are drilled I'll debate that. If nothing else I will give it a good long shake in my "Bucket O Shavings" jar

If nothing else I will give it a good long shake in my "Bucket O Shavings" jar No need to do that Red. For it to be authentic you just need to take the edges off. Polish it and rebrush it. That should be sufficient. Remember, this watch is no more then 24 years old and almost all are in very good condition.
redwatch Posted April 4, 2012 Author Report Posted April 4, 2012 Great tip Gavidoc. Thanks for the suggestion.
Original Scope Posted April 4, 2012 Report Posted April 4, 2012 Looking good Red!Cannot wait to see the final project.
redwatch Posted April 19, 2012 Author Report Posted April 19, 2012 Little project update. Gen crystal has arrived. Gen date wheel from stilty has arrived. Case is off for some lug hole work! Looking forward to getting the case back
Ephry73 Posted April 24, 2012 Report Posted April 24, 2012 I wonder if the TC crystal and case back fit this star time case. I so it would only need the correct numbering between the lugs.
