klocklind1
How will the datewindow be aligned if I put a GENUINE 1680 DIAL on a swiss eta 2836-2 movement ? Will the dates be perfectely centrered in the datewindow or ????
tomhorn
are you talking a stock 2836, or are you just replacing the dial in an existing 1680 rep?
freddy333
I have not done this myself (so do not carve this in stone), but I am pretty certain the date will be slightly misaligned. It may only be .5mm, but I doubt it will align correctly since the movements are different.
w0lf
I've done this on ETA2846 (same DW position as 2836) with a silver DW from the new PT/PC China 1680. The datewheel is too flush to the left, though all dates are legible it doesn't look very good off center.
highoeyazmuhudee
this is why i build no date subs
Jkay
I've done this on ETA2846 (same DW position as 2836) with a silver DW from the new PT/PC China 1680. The datewheel is too flush to the left, though all dates are legible it doesn't look very good off center. And that is why a bought an MBK dial for your old watch I hope to have it installed presently.
