He got some inheritance money and has just got himself a gen Longines hydroconquest sub. Previously he wore a titanium beater with no problems, but since his pride and joy arrived his wrist is all blotchy. japanic Posted April 5, 2012 Report Share Posted April 5, 2012 A possible option is to have the caseback coated with ceramic or plated with white gold with rhodium in the alloy. Rhodium is hypoallergenic. I am not certain of the chemistry in regards to the ceramic, but it should put a layer of material between the watch and the wrist. URkuk Posted April 5, 2012 Report Share Posted April 5, 2012 Have your friend pick up a tube of Vanicream. It is available online for about 10 bucks. It is a hypoallergenic skin cream. Apply it to the wrist before wearing the watch. My wife has allergies and it works wonders for her.. It is light and odorless. For 10 bucks it's worth a shot..
