You can also sand off the cyclops of a T127. Pretty easy - I did it for my old 1680:

To op: I was gonna mention sanding the cyclops off like sneed did.

He did it because of datewheel issues.

Yeah, me too. It's a Clark 127 and the cyclops wasn't perfectly centered so I sanded it off - and I was surprised how good it looked!

How do you guys send the mag off?

I use regular grit until the cyclops is gone, then some fine grit and a polish compound with a Dremel tool to put it back to shiny :)

Exactly. It was actually pretty easy - it's plastic after all...
